Supplementary information
Introduction
This Rate Card should be read in conjunction with Yell's Advertising Conditions,
a copy of which can be accessed at, Yelldirect.com/legal/ or from your Sales
Consultant.
Eligibility
Certain products and pricing models are available only to customers meeting
eligibility criteria relating to those products and pricing models. Please refer
to product descriptions below. In matters of determining eligibility Yell’s
decision will be final.
Advertisement content
All advertisement content must be legal, decent, honest and truthful and must
comply with our current Advertisement Policies, a copy of which can be accessed
on Yelldirect.com/legal/. Images must be in one of the following formats JPEG
(recommended except banners)/GIF (recommended for banners)/BMP/PCX/PNG and TIFF.
Advertising period
This is a minimum period of 12 months (excludes Domain Name, National Banners,
and National Pay Per Click adverts). Minimum Advertising Period is as stated on
the Advertising Order Form for National Banners.
Yell.com Search
Yell.com Search enables users to search for business listings by entering, for
example a product/service and/or company name and location.
Customers who purchase a Yell.com product (excluding Domain Names, National
Banners and Sponsored Listings) are given a listing, which will be displayed
using the Yell.com search engine, where relevant searches are conducted.
These listings are ranked based upon whether each one is an advertiser or free
listing as well as its relevance to the search. The number of listings displayed
for every search will be limited. Yell.com cannot guarantee that advertisers
will appear above free listings. Determination of relevance is at the sole
discretion of Yell.com.
The postcode of a business determines in which locations the listing may be
found. By purchasing given Yell.com products a listing may expand the number of
location searches for which it is a candidate.
Please note that neither Yellow Pages directory, regional, metropolitan nor
national area package names are search terms.
